From Chicago: I-94 East to I-196/US-31 (exit 34) near Benton Harbor. Continue on I-196 East, following signs for Holland/Grand Rapids, to US-31 (exit 44) toward Holland/Muskegon. Follow US-31 North and turn right (east) on M-45 East/Lake Michigan Drive. Continue 15 miles to Grand Valley’s entrance and turn right (south) onto North Campus Drive. Approximately 200 miles from Chicago. Note: Michigan is one hour ahead of Illinois (ET).

From Detroit/Lansing: I-96 West to I-196 West/Gerald R. Ford Freeway/Downtown Grand Rapids (exit 37). Follow I-196 to M-45 West/Lake Michigan Drive (exit 75). Continue 10 miles to Grand Valley’s entrance and turn left (south) onto North Campus Drive. Approximately 160 miles from Detroit and 75 miles from Lansing.

From Holland: US-31 North to M-45 East/Lake Michigan Drive, turning right (east) onto M-45. Continue 15 miles to Grand Valley’s entrance and turn right (south) onto North Campus Drive. Approximately 30 miles from Holland.

From Kalamazoo: US-131 North to I-196 West/Gerald R. Ford Freeway (exit 86B). Follow I-196 to M-45 West/Lake Michigan Drive (exit 75). Continue 10 miles to Grand Valley’s entrance and turn left (south) onto North Campus Drive. Approximately 65 miles from Kalamazoo.

From Muskegon: I-96 East to Ottawa County B35/Coopersville/Eastmanville (exit 16). Turn left (south) onto 68th Avenue. Turn left (east) onto M-45 East/Lake Michigan Drive. Continue 3 miles to Grand Valley’s entrance and turn right (south) onto North Campus Drive. Approximately 35 miles from Muskegon.

From Traverse City/Northern Michigan: US-131 South to I-196 West/Gerald R. Ford Freeway (exit 86B). Follow I-196 to M-45 West/Lake Michigan Drive (exit 75). Continue 10 miles to Grand Valley’s entrance and turn left (south) onto North Campus Drive. Approximately 150 miles from Traverse City.
